NEW YORK CITY MOTORYCLE NOISE ORDINANCE

Falling on the heals of what was passed up in Boston, NYC is re-attempting to pass it's own noise ordinance. We covered this on the Biker Lowdown in our discussions with Concerned Citizens for Motorcycle Safety. Please go to ccmsny.org to join the fight!

BOSTON MOTORYCLE NOISE ORDINANCE

A call to action is needed to address a repugnant law passed by the city of Boston that requires all motorcycles to have exhaust pipes that display the EPA stamp. This stamp is only engraved on stock O.E.M. pipes. This means all after-market exhaust systems are illegal and can receive a $300 ticket... even if parked! This is also considered a moving violation for insurance purposes!!! Support the Justice Riders and help get this law repealed. The Justice Riders have been regular guests on the Biker Lowdown.
